Knitted scarf made from 50% wool and 50% acrylic keeping you warm during the colder days
Acrylic fiber closely resembles the look and feel of wool fibers. Acrylic fabric is lightweight, warm, and soft to the touch. It is thus used in place of wool or blended with sheep wool or cashmere. Common end products of acrylic fabric include sweaters, hats, socks, and knitting yarn.
Acrylic fiber can be washed quite easily. However, it can be temperamental – at least as it relates to hot and cold water temperatures. It’s always best to wash acrylic in warm water to ensure that it retains its durability and flexibility.
Wool has some very unique properties that provide amazing comfort – all year round. And with the right care, a wool sweater keeps looking nice year after year.
It is rarely necessary to wash wool. Hang it outside to be aired out - preferably as humidly as possible. This cleans the wool and it regains its shape.
